The rotating part needs to pay attention to the lubrication and tightening of the slewing bearing (turntable), regularly add high-pressure grease from the designated grease nipple, and check the gear meshing and whether there are any abnormal noises.
Maintenance of the traveling mechanism varies depending on the type: For crawler excavators, it is necessary to regularly adjust the track tension to the standard range, check whether the track wheels and supporting sprockets are leaking, and replace excessively worn track shoes in a timely manner. For tire-type excavators, it is necessary to check the tire pressure and wear, and pay attention to the oil level of the axle housing and reducer.
Good maintenance can ensure that the equipment moves flexibly and operates smoothly. If this part is ignored, it may lead to walking deviation and poor rotation, which will affect the efficiency. At worst, it may cause damage to bearings or structural parts, resulting in tens of thousands of yuan or even higher maintenance costs and lengthy shutdowns, which will have a serious impact on the construction progress.
